Registered Dental Hygienist (Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage)

Drum Hill Dental is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave coverage. This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team in a patient-focused practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hygiene appointments are scheduled for 1-hour appointment times Monday through Thursday, allowing ample time to provide high-quality patient care and education.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing as needed
• Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately
• Take digital radiographs and maintain patient records
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver exceptional patient experiences
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Passion for patient care and education
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with digital charting and radiography preferred
