About Us

Streamwood Smiles is a patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality care in a friendly, team-oriented environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting both clinical and operational excellence.

Position Overview

The Lead Dental Assistant will support providers chairside while helping guide daily clinical flow and assisting with team coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys taking ownership and leadership within the clinical team.

Schedule

• Monday & Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 1 Saturday per month: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Compensation

• $23 - $26/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Assist providers chairside during a variety of procedures
• Help oversee clinical flow and ensure efficient patient care
• Support and lead other assistants as needed
• Maintain sterilization protocols and operatory readiness
• Assist with patient education and comfort
• Provide occasional support to the front desk when needed (preferred but not required

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
• Dental polishing certification
• Dental sealant certification
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Front desk or administrative experience
• Previous leadership or lead assistant experience
