Family Dental Care of Marietta | Dental Assistant | Full Time | $500 Sign on Bonus!

We value the relationships we have created over the years and strive to deliver friendly, compassionate dental care. We are looking to add a Dental Assistant to the team! The ideal candidate is someone with at 1-2 years of previous dental experience preferred and a passion for helping people achieve their smile goals!

Job duties may include but are not limited to-

• Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory.
• Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist.
• Promotes an atmosphere supportive of good dental and general health by demonstrating good oral hygiene, questioning patients to ascertain home care status, instructing patients in techniques of flossing and brushing in accordance with protocol.
• Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures.
• Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures.
• Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist.
• Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed.
• Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory.
• Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
• Take digital radiographs.
• Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge and usage of dental terminology, dental instruments, tray setups and instrument sharpening.

Compensation:

• Compensation based on experience (23-25/hr)
• Full time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, uniform allowance, time off

$500 Sign on Bonus, to be paid after 90 days of employment!

Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm
• Wednesday and Friday: 7:45am-1:00pm
